I asked her out again
Since she had said before,
"Maybe, in time."
I got a definite answer.
Basically,
"My parents think I am too young."
Too young?
"I'm only 18."
So?
"They won't let me.
My dad said I should wait.
But I would date you if I could.
You are funny, smart, and very nice."
Not the answer I was hoping for,
But just saying she would meant the world to me.
Just knowing she wants to love me settles my heart.
I was finally able to sleep well last night.
But here is the part I question;
How can someone be too young to love another?
I understand that little kids might not love the same way a teenager does,
But that doesn't mean they don't love.
Yes it is possible to physically stop something,
But you cannot physically stop an emotion,
Or an idea because "You cannot kill an idea."
(V for Vendetta)
So then, this is the first time I leave an open-ended question to those who actually read my crap;
Is it possible to stop two people who love each other from not?
Please no answers about how they can force her to stay home or anything like that. I am asking this on an emotional level. And please be sensitive if you answer.
